ByAnnie Basics - Intro to Bag Making
Have you admired the gorgeous bags and accessories you’ve seen in the store and wished you could make them? This two session class is designed to teach you the skills needed to make the more complex patterns. You will complete a different project in each class with learning new skills and techniques allowing you to progress from beginner to a confident advanced beginner. You will learn how read and follow a pattern; sew ¼” and 1 /8” seams; quilt using standard and walking feet; insert zippers; work with mesh; create and apply bias binding; make a project organizer and zippered accessory bag.
Please note that there will be tasks that must be completed at home before each class.
Both sessions will have a half hour lunch. Please plan accordingly.

| Requirements: | A sewing machine in good working order (don't forget your foot control and power cord!) Operating knowledge of your sewing machine. |
